A Chicago judge has allowed a malpractice suit against law firm Baker McKenzie and its Russian affiliate to move forward.
London-based Lehram Capital Investments is “entitled to conduct discovery on the relationship among Baker” and other entities before disputed questions are resolved, Judge John Tully Jr. of the Circuit Court of Cook County wrote on Oct. 17.
Baker McKenzie did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
