Baker McKenzie Adds Transactional Partner Colin Bowes-Carlson

Colin Bowes-Carlson has rejoined Baker McKenzie in Chicago as a partner with its global transactional team, the firm said Wednesday.

Bowes-Carlson advises public and private companies on complex cross-border transactional matters, including carve-outs, spinoffs, cash repatriation projects, pre- and post-acquisition integrations and other reorganizations, according to the firm.

He led complex tax matters while working as general counsel with the Illinois Department of Revenue, and provided counsel on agency strategy and policy, the firm said.
