Baker Donelson Recruits DC Consumer Finance Partner Selden

R. Colgate Selden joined Baker Donelson as a shareholder in its financial services litigation and compliance group in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.

Selden advises clients involved in all aspects of consumer and mortgage loan operations. His clients include banks, non-bank lenders, credit unions, investors, fintech firms, financial services companies, and others, the firm said.

He joins from SeldenLindeke, a boutique regulatory firm he co-founded and co-led. Selden previously worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and had stops at Alston & Bird and Blank Rome.
