Baker Botts Snags Paul Hastings Houston Corporate Chair

Douglas Getten has left his post as chairman of Paul Hastings’s Houston corporate department, where he worked with energy companies, to join Baker Botts as a capital markets partner in the Texan city.

Getten also had been a partner in the firm’s securities and capital markets practices and its M&A practice.
