Baker Botts Recruits Gurch to Global Projects Department in DC

Matthew Gurch has joined the energy, projects, and transactions section of the global projects department at Baker Botts as a partner in Washington, DC, the firm said Monday.

Gurch focuses on energy and infrastructure project development and financings, advising sponsors and private lenders and multilateral development banks, according to Baker Botts.

His experience includes tax equity structuring and back leverage debt financings for renewable and energy transition assets as well as the development and financing of nuclear and other thermal power generation and oil and gas projects, Baker Botts said.
