Baker Botts Hires Sheppard Mullin IP Lawyer Bruehs in DC Office

Martin Bruehs joined Baker Botts as a partner in its intellectual property department in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.

Bruehs is a patent practitioner with more than 25 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, and medical devices. His practice encompasses patent portfolio development, freedom-to-operate analysis, licensing, validity and infringement opinions, patent litigation and post-grant proceedings, and integrated IP strategy for emerging and established life sciences companies around the globe, the firm said.

He joins from Sheppard Mullin.
