Baker Botts Adds Partners in Riyadh From Herbert Smith Freehills

Joza Al Rasheed and Alexander Currie joined Baker Botts as partners in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the firm announced Thursday.

Al Rasheed works with complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions, capital markets, restructuring, and corporate governance, with a focus across the oil and gas, energy transition, mining, and technology sectors, the firm said. Al Rasheed will also serve as partner in charge of the Riyadh office.

Currie works in energy, natural resources, and infrastructure. He focuses on complex project development, financing, and restructuring across the oil and gas, mining, power, and technology sectors, the firm said.
