Baker Botts Adds Lyons, Rees as Capital Markets Duo From Dechert

Patrick Lyons and Jennifer Rees joined Baker Botts as partners in its capital markets group in London, the firm announced Monday.

Lyons advises sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers, energy companies, financial institutions, life sciences and health-care companies, and others on high-profile IPOs, debt offerings, ESG bonds, rights issues, and privatizations, the firm said.

Rees focuses her practice on public and private cross-border capital markets transactions in emerging markets, including sovereign bond issuances, corporate equity and debt offerings, regulatory capital, and other offerings for financial institutions, ESG financings, and liability management transactions, the firm said.

They join from Dechert.
