Robert Benson and Jeffrey Johnson have joined the intellectual property department at Baker Botts as partners in San Francisco and Houston, the firm said Wednesday.
Benson, who will be based in San Francisco, handles commercial and intellectual property litigation in federal and state courts, according to Baker Botts. He previously led the Taiwan practice for Orrick.
Johnson has experience with patent litigation in the technology, energy, and life sciences industries, Baker Botts said. He will be based in Houston.
Benson and Johnson have worked together to represent clients in the US and Asia, according to the firm.
