Ashurst Names Gavin Weir UK Head of Financial Institutions M&A

Gavin Weir has been appointed a partner at Ashurst LLP in its corporate practice in the UK, the firm said Monday.

Weir has experience with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance, acting for clients in the financial services sector, according to Ashurst.

He will serve as UK head of financial institutions M&A, Ashurst said.
