Mir Masud-Elias joined Arnold & Porter’s tax and tax-exempt practices as counsel, resident in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Masud-Elias’s work spans multiple industries, including tax-exempt organizations, life sciences, healthcare, academic research, pharmaceutical, and financial services, the firm said.
She focuses her practice on legal issues critical to university research offices, including tax-exempt issues, organizational structure, corporate governance, strategic partnerships, intellectual property, technology transfer, and research conflicts of interest, Arnold & Porter said.
