Arnold & Porter Chair Passes Reins Amid Executive Suite Changes

Law firm Arnold & Porter announced leadership changes on Thursday that will see its chairman of nine years, Richard Alexander, cede his role to the firm’s two co-managing partners.

Washington DC-based Michael Daneker and San Francisco-based Ellen Kaye Fleishhacker were elected to serve as co-chairs of the firm starting on Jan. 1, according to the firm’s announcement. The firm’s chief operating officer Sean Howell will step into the newly created role of chief executive officer.
