Jeffrey Talbert has joined Arnold & Porter as a partner with the environmental practice in the Newark, N.J., and Boston offices, the firm said Monday.
Talbert formerly served as trial attorney at the US Department of Justice in the environmental enforcement section of the environment and natural resources division, according to Arnold & Porter.
He advises clients on environmental litigation, permitting, due diligence, and risk management as well as the allocation and mediation of liability among parties at Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act or Resource Conservation and Recovery Act sites, Arnold & Porter said.
