Armstrong Teasdale has cut 30-plus staff and attorneys positions, making it the latest US law firm to trim its workforce amid a slowdown in the legal market.
The St. Louis-based firm laid off 24 staffers and 11 lawyers, firm spokeswoman Monica Kriegel confirmed Tuesday.
The staff cuts followed a “review of our organizational support structure,” Armstrong Teasdale managing partner Patrick Rasche said in a statement via email. The attorney layoffs were a result of “productivity and performance” reviews, he added.
