Two Arizona public utilities said bankrupt electric-vehicle maker Nikola Corp. owes them tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees they incurred due a dispute over a water-services contract.
Nikola owes $75,000 in attorneys fees to two Global Water Resources Inc. subsidiaries, the public service corporations told the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday.
