Anthem to Pay $39.5m in Settlement With States on 2015 Attack

Anthem reaches a settlement with state attorneys general investigating a 2015 cyber attack on the company.

• Company says this was last open investigation related to the attack
• Anthem says it doesn’t believe it violated the law, is not admitting any such violations
• No evidence found that information obtained in the attack resulted in fraud, Anthem says
