Announcing Some Internal Changes at Big Law Business

Some news to announce here at Big Law Business.

Scott Mozarsky, who has been the executive in charge of Big Law Business since the site’s inception, is moving on to take the helm of Bloomberg Law and the Bloomberg BNA Legal Division. Mozarsky was the president of cross platform businesses, which includes our website.

Mike MacKay, a vice president of the cross platform division, will succeed Mozarsky as president and will be the new executive overseeing Big Law Business. [Image “Scott Mozarsky” (src=https://bol.bna.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/mozarsky-scott.jpg)]

Mozarsky, who replaces David Perla, will continue to report to Bloomberg BNA CEO and President Greg McCaffery and will oversee the company’s legal products, including the legal research tools and analytics on Bloomberg Law.

As president of the cross platform division, Mozarsky also oversaw legal education products, live events, and marketing services.

Previously, Mozarsky spent seven years in private legal practice, served as general counsel of UBM, and also was chief commercial officer of PR Newswire.

MacKay previously held a number of leadership roles at Bloomberg LP, including chief of staff for the company’s chief operating officer Beth Mazzeo, and head of global data in the Hong Kong region.
