Amplitude Inc., a cloud-based analytics startup based in San Francisco, has hired its first general counsel in Elizabeth Fisher.
Fisher joined Amplitude this month after more than five years at Postmates Inc., a food delivery startup that in 2016 hired her from the associate ranks of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
In touting Fisher’s credentials, Amplitude noted that she oversaw late-stage mergers and acquisitions and exit efforts at Postmates. That included preparing for a potential initial public offering and advising on the company’s $2.7 billion sale to Uber Technologies Inc. that closed in December.
