AMC Theatres Names Edwin Gladbach General Counsel and Secretary

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc., the cinema giant, has named Edwin (Eddie) Gladbach senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, it said Monday.

Gladbach has served as interim general counsel and secretary since February. He will report to Adam Aron, chairman and CEO, and will sit on AMC’s Executive Committee. Gladbach joined AMC in 2009 and was previously a senior counsel at Interstate Bakeries Corp. and an associate at Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP.

AMC said it was also promoting Kelly Schemenauer to vice president and associate general counsel, with an expanded leadership role in legal and compliance strategies.
