Amazon Grocery Deliverer SpartanNash Hires New Legal Chief (1)

SpartanNash Co., which distributes groceries to Amazon.com Inc.’s Amazon Fresh, has hired Ileana McAlary as senior vice president and chief legal officer.

McAlary starts Nov. 15 at the Grand Rapids, Mich. grocery distributor and retailer, succeeding Kathleen Mahoney, who is retiring after 17 years there. McAlary previously worked for grocery retailer Meijer Inc. and multi-level marketing company Amway Corp.
