Alston & Bird Recruits David Shaw to M&A Practice in New York

David L. Shaw has joined Alston & Bird as a partner with the mergers and acquisitions practice in New York, the firm said Tuesday.

Shaw works with public and private companies on complex business transactions and general corporate matters, according to Alston & Bird. He has experience with transactions involving private equity, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and majority and minority investments.

He was a partner at Fried Frank.
