George Silfen joined Alston & Bird as a partner in its investment funds group in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Silfen advises registered investment companies, boards of directors, investment advisers, and broker-dealers on organizing and operating various investment vehicles. He focuses on alternative investments and the Investment Company Act of 1940, the firm said.
