Alphabet Investors Swat Away Record Number of AI Risk Bids (1)

Alphabet Inc. shareholders on Friday rejected a series of proposals urging the tech giant to report on AI risks from misinformation to human rights concerns.

The annual meeting at Alphabet, Google’s parent company, saw investors vote on more AI bids than at any other business so far this year. Investors have pressed companies from Meta Platforms Inc. to Microsoft Corp. on AI risks.
