Elaine Hughes has joined Allen & Overy in the US funds and asset management practice in the New York office, the firm said Tuesday.
Hughes advises hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, credit funds, and funds of funds on operational needs, securities laws, and regulatory and compliance issues, according to Allen & Overy.
She has experience representing investment managers, funds, and investors on the formation, structuring, and operation of U.S.-based and offshore investment vehicles, said the firm.
She joins from Lowenstein Sandler.
