Albertson’s Cos. Inc. has hired Thomas Moriarty, a longtime former top lawyer at CVS Health Corp., to be its general counsel, the company said Friday.
Moriarty, who retired in April from CVS Health, replaces Juliette Pryor, who left Albertson’s this month to take the top legal job at home improvement retailer Lowe’s Cos. Inc. Albertson’s is facing an antitrust review of its proposed $25 billion sale to fellow grocery giant Kroger Co.
