Laura Smolowe joined Akin as a litigation partner in its complex commercial and labor and employment litigation practices in Los Angeles, the firm announced Monday.
Smolowe’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a concentration in trade secret, employee mobility, and labor and employment issues. She represents clients in technology, entertainment, fashion, retail, finance, and pharmaceutical industries in federal and state courts and arbitration panels nationwide, the firm said.
She joins from Munger, Tolles & Olson.
