Akin Recruits Partner to Projects & Energy Transition Practice

Vanessa Richelle Wilson has joined Akin as a partner in the projects and energy transition practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Wednesday.

Wilson’s practice focuses on a range of energy transactions including renewable generation projects, energy storage facilities, hydrogen production facilities, and transmission systems, according to Akin.

She also advises on M&A, financing and development transactions for clients, said the firm. Wilson previously served as the US head of the energy and natural resources sector at DLA Piper.
