Akin Recruits Mary Alexander as Tax Equity Partner in Washington

Mary Alexander joined Akin as a tax partner in Washington, the firm announced Thursday.

Alexander’s practice focuses on federal income tax aspects of energy transition transactions, including renewable energy, carbon capture, biogas property, and electric vehicles. She advises asset managers, financial institutions, public and private corporations, and partnerships, the firm said.

She joins from Vinson & Elkins.
