Akin Recruits DOJ’s Sara McLean as False Claims Act Partner

Sara McLean joined Akin as a partner in its False Claims Act practice and regulatory group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

McLean joins from the Justice Department, where she was most recently assistant director of the Civil Division Commercial Litigation Branch. She has litigated and supervised FCA matters in health care, cyber, education, procurement and government contracts, trade, energy, and financial fraud, the firm said.
