Akin Grabs Dechert’s Sarah Milam as Structured Finance Partner

Sarah Milam joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a partner in its asset-based finance, securitization, and structured finance practices in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Milam’s practice focuses on advising credit and other investors in structuring complex ABF transactions involving the acquisition, financing and divestment of traditional and esoteric assets. She also counsels clients on negotiating and structuring flow purchase arrangements and advises originators and issuers in a wide range of financing and securitization transactions involving various asset classes, the firm said.

She joins from Dechert.
