Max Karpel has joined Akin Gump as a partner in the investment management practice in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Karpel has experience offering guidance in the formation and structuring of hedge funds and private investment fund vehicles, according to Akin.
He previously served as chair of Lowenstein Sandler’s emerging managers practice and co-chair of its family office practice.
