Ian Goldberg has joined Akin as a partner in the energy transactions practice in the Houston office, the firm said Wednesday.
Goldberg advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, project development and financial transactions involving oil and gas assets, energy transition investments, and rare earth mineral deposits, according to Akin.
He previously led the energy transactions practice at Hunton Andrews Kurth.
