Akerman Recruits M&A Partner Matt Hendy in Manhattan Office

Matt Hendy joined Akerman LLP as a partner in the corporate practice group in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.

Hendy focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private investments across technology, business services, infrastructure, and life sciences industries. He has represented private equity sponsors, including CVC Capital, Harvest Partners, Investcorp, and I Squared Capital, the firm said.

He joins Akerman from Montreal’s Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg.
