Marc Lieberstein and Georges Nahitchevansky joined Akerman in its intellectual property practice group in New York, the firm announced Oct. 24.
Lieberstein’s practice focuses on intellectual property licensing and franchising, including the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of license and franchise documents and agreements, the firm said. He represents clients in the retail, fashion, food and beverage, and commercial design industries.
Nahitchevansky’s practice includes the litigation and counseling of trademark, copyright, and internet matters in the US and internationally, the firm said. He handles trademark, copyright, and internet enforcement matters, including complex cross-border and multijurisdictional disputes.
