Jonathan Ballan joined Akerman as a partner in its corporate practice group in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Ballan serves as as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and developer’s counsel in complex transactions across transportation, housing, not-for-profits, education, and sports facilities, the firm said.
