Adria Crowe and Christine Kim joined Akerman as partners in its transactional risk practice, the firm announced Wednesday.
Crowe represents insurance carriers throughout the underwriting process of transactions, including due diligence and policy negotiation, the firm said. She provides advice to clients on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and secondary transactions.
Kim focuses her practice on transactional liability insurance coverage and claims matters, the firm said. She represents domestic and international insurers in representations and warranties, warranty and indemnity, contingent risk, political risk, and trade credit matters.
