Austin Ownbey has joined Akerman LLP as corporate partner in its Washington D.C., office, the firm announced Monday.
Ownbey is a specialist in antitrust counseling and Hart-Scott-Rodino filings. He has worked with clients in health care, pharmaceuticals, private equity, venture capital, technology, and energy. He has represented clients before the Justice Department’s antitrust division, the Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general, and foreign antitrust enforcement agencies, according to the announcement.
