Cole Beaubouef joined Akerman as a partner in its corporate practice group in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Beaubouef advises private fund managers, family offices, and institutional investors on investment management, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactional matters. He focuses on structuring various investment vehicles and counsels clients on compliance with key regulations, the firm said.
He joins from Winston & Strawn.
