Joseph Guiliano has been named chief intellectual property officer at Adeia Inc., the firm said Thursday.
Guiliano has served as outside legal counsel for Adeia’s IP portfolio since 1995, according to Adeia. He was a cofounder and managing partner of Haley Guiliano LLP.
He has experience handling IP legal matters such as patent prosecution, IP transactions, and patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation litigation, Adeia said.
He also previously chaired the IP rights management practice at Ropes & Gray, according to the company.
