US Immigration and Customs Enforcement was hit with a lawsuit Wednesday from the American Civil Liberties Union alleging it has failed to turn over records on its practice of threatening and surveilling those who film or photograph ICE agents.
The complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, said the ACLU submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to a number of federal immigration agencies last November but hasn’t received any responsive records.
