Jan Sysel joined A&O Shearman as a partner to lead and expand the firm’s US fund finance practice in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.
Sysel possesses over 20 years of experience in structuring and executing complex fund finance transactions primarily in connection with fund formation, which includes subscription line facilities, asset-based facilities, and hybrid facilities. He serves as a member of the Fund Finance Association (FFA) US Advisory Council, the firm said.
He joins from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.
