China Sells More Solar Panels to Emerging Nations Amid Disputes

China’s solar-panel producers are shipping more of their products to emerging markets amid an increase in trade disputes over exports with Europe and the U.S.

The shift comes following the imposition of trade restrictions by the U.S. and Europe to prevent local companies from being undercut on prices by Chinese imports and is good news for panel producers such as JinkoSolar Holding Co. and Trina Solar Ltd. In 2015, the two regions, along with Japan, bought almost 60 percent of solar exports by China.
