Business Groups Urge OSHA to Let Them Have Say in Vaccine Rule

Dozens of industry lobbying organizations are urging the U.S. Labor Department’s workplace safety agency to accept their input as regulators write an emergency rule to implement President Joe Biden‘s call for an employer vaccination mandate.

The Coalition for Workplace Safety—which is led by groups such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, National Retail Federation, and National Association of Manufacturers—wrote to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s top official Friday, asking him to reconsider what they described as the agency’s “decision” to exclude outside groups from the process.
