ANALYSIS: Trump Sets Pro-Crypto Course While SEC Awaits Atkins

It’s a new year—and there are new resolutions from a new administration. The SEC’s upcoming “Atkins diet” looks heavy on the crypto, light on enforcement, and even lighter on ESG.

Separately, White House crypto czar David Sacks is already pushing ahead to get stablecoin legislation drafted and looking into the federal government amassing a Bitcoin reserve. The SEC will need to be involved in those efforts.
