Almost two months ago, I asked why more public benefit companies aren’t going public. No exact answer materialized, but my inquiry highlighted the opportunity for public benefit corporation (PBC) startups to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals into their business.

Last week’s debut of the Long-Term Stock Exchange (LTSE) could provide a new avenue for realizing that opportunity.
