The National Labor Relations Board’s midyear election results are in, and it looks like more of the same for union organizing efforts: Labor continues to win an ever-growing share of an ever-shrinking field of opportunities.
The NLRB oversaw 329 representation elections in the second quarter. While this represents a large upturn in activity from the first-quarter’s total of 249, it wasn’t enough to reverse the overall downward trend in union organizing.
