The HHS isn’t rushing its latest effort to bar LGBTQ discrimination in health care.

Having more than 70,000 comments to weed through doesn’t help as the agency works to finalize a long-awaited regulation that was proposed last summer. But a recent court ruling from Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk could also be part of the reason: The agency might need time to make sure its plan is as legally solid as possible.
