ANALYSIS: Funding Interest in Antitrust, Commercial Holds Steady

Antitrust and commercial litigation were the top practice areas of interest for litigation funders in 2024, according to Bloomberg Law’s most recent litigation funding survey. The survey also reveals some noteworthy shifts in rankings this year compared to 2023 among practice areas like trademark and copyright as well as bankruptcy.

The survey data suggests that the appetite among litigation finance firms for investing in various litigation practice areas has become slightly more balanced, even as some case types are consistently appealing year to year.
