Employee political expression reignited as a hot topic in September of this year. After political organizer and media personality Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a debate, many members of the public took to social media to disavow what they believed to be his derogatory political views and cultural influence. In response, a cohort of Kirk supporters, including prominent Republican government officials, publicly called for their firing.
