YesCare Jail Creditors Seek to End Contracts Amid Staff No-Shows

Bankrupt prison healthcare business YesCare Corp. is facing new demands from government correctional facilities to end contracts over unpaid wages for staffers.

The city of Philadelphia and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in central Florida are looking to force YesCare to terminate their healthcare provider contracts, according to emergency motions filed Tuesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Their efforts come as YesCare moves to use cash subject to existing liens from lenders to fund operations and make payroll as it “explores all options” for a larger bankruptcy loan.
